Creative cooperative members and members of the public paint the construction site walls on the Langstrasse in a big event.
“Roofing ceremony” for the construction workers* and planners*. It is not a matter of course that everything goes as planned on a construction site. All the more reason for the cooperative to look back on the last one and a half years of construction work and to note that all unexpected incidents could be absorbed thanks to excellent construction management and enthusiastic planners.
The Federal Council declares a Swiss-wide lockdown due to the novel Covid 19 virus. The construction sites continue to operate in compliance with hygiene protection measures. Fortunately, no cases of illness were recorded at Zollhaus construction site.
The houses Z111, the corner house with roof garden for the future kindergarten (see photo), and Z121, with an inviting forum at the corner of Zoll-/Langstrasse, are equipped and the facades are in full splendor!
The first building at Zollstrasse 115 is completed and will be handed over to its tenant, the city of Zurich, these days: The unique urban kindergarten in a spectacular location opens its doors after the autumn vacations 2020.
